An introduction to Burst

26 March 2014

What is Burst?

Burst is an HTTP framework. You can use it as a stand-alone application to intercept, modify and replay requests; or use the library to forge your own tool. It is released under the BSD license and available on Github.

Burst is based on Abrupt. Abrupt was initially developed while I was working at Securus Global. A presentation was made at Kiwicon 6 on Abrupt. At the time of writing, Abrupt is not actively maintained and Burst has had numerous improvements since then.
